nothing ever changes
Had 1 year anniversary...two days out of town, couldn't wait to get back...have trouble being around him these days, don't like him much any more...had to leave for training in another city for three days, he spent every waking hour with his kids, especially SD....I didn't even get a hug, how was it when I got home!! ..Before I left, I told him I had a new "rule" for MY household..he and she could no longer have their "private, father, daughter talks" at my house, she has an apartment (that he pays for) and if they wanted to talk privately he could go over there.

1Year seems like 10
We've been married for a year on the 18th. Most of it has been pretty miserable, but we are dedicated to making it work and trying very hard to see what we will look like (or be doing) five years or even ten years from now. Last evening we talked about SD's behavior and the patterns of her behavior. Dad saw a glimpse of her that he normally chooses not to see, how sad for all of us. Mostly her... Anyway, for today and this weekend, I will choose to make my own way, my own happiness and NOT think about SD and her chaotic way of life.

SD is driving us apart
My step daughter is my problem. She is 19, has a 6 month old daughter (father unknown), can't hold a job, doesn't want to work, wants Daddy to support her and granddaughter. She writes letters to her mother (in prison for meth) and tells her what a bi*** I am, then leaves letters on the table to be seen by all. Her mother and BF kicked her out while she was pregnant, we took her in with conditions (work, pay Hot check fines, do court ordered community service, etc.)....She had baby, stayed 4 weeks, went back to East Texas and did drugs until she had to call Daddy AGAIN for help.
