Goodbye Stress

I've realized that my friends who are not in the situation will understand. After too much stress and too many battles, I've waved my white flag. If you don't trust me and I have to justify everything I do, then I, for your benefit, will not be one-on-one with your son. Don't complain. Don't argue. I've stated my case and from now on you deal with it. It may be my purse today, but when the police come calling, I don't want to hear it. And no, I don't have bail money!

Lies vs. The Truth

So, my stepson, who has proven time and again to be a liar and thief is at it again. But this time, he went into my purse!!!! What a violation!! At only 11, he has a long history of lies and deception. When I pointed out that items were missing from my purse to my husband, he asked his son, who (DUH obviously) denied it. So what does my wonderful husband do/say? Questions me further and tells his son 'I hope you're telling the truth'. REALLY!?!?!?! I see prison visits in his future....
