The stepfamily saga is no more on Desperate Housewives! Carolyn found out that her husband had been cheating on her so she went to his grocery store to “send him to be with Monique” (who is now dead). Lynette and Nora were in the grocery store and among the hostages. Nora started talking to Lynette about her “trying to take her daughter away” b/c Lynette and Tom had begun action to sue Nora for custody of Kayla. Carolyn, the gunwoman, heard them talking and questioned why they were making noise when she’d instructed them to be quiet. Nora said “she’s trying to take my daughter away from me” to which Lynette says, “No I’m not, she tried to seduce my husband” Carolyn said, “Oh, well why didn’t you just say so?” and shoots Nora in the chest and then looks at Lynette and says “I believe the word you are looking for is Thank You”….Before she died, Nora made Lynette promise to take good care of her little girl…

I have to be honest and say that while it was a VERY sad moment, I had a moment of feeling that Lynette was “lucky” that she wouldn’t have to put up with Nora’s crazy CRAP any more…I know that is very selfish of me but that’s how I felt…
