If BM is receiving benefits from the state and has a new boyfriend living with her, does she have to report his income? (He's been there for at least 4 months now) Or is his income not included when her state benefits are calculated?

How can SO be so intelligent normally but stupid as a rock when dealing with BM

Today, I get a message that SS has new grades posted. I checked and he already has two F's and 4 missing homework assignments. Report cards just came out last month. Also, his reading book has been at BM house for almost 4 weeks and the teacher keeps asking us to have SS bring it back.

For ONCE we didn't have the Skids this weekend.

I told SO after SS was a jerk during Christmas break that I need a weekend without them and he actually made it happen.

Friday we just hung out and relaxed after work. It was so nice not having to drive and extra hour in traffic to pick them up.

Saturday we went to Cocoa Village and browsed through some antique shops, record store, and art shops. Then we went to a nursery and SO bought me a beautiful Rose plant. Then we went to Lowes and got some dirt and other little plants.

Will SO finally ask me to marry him or .........

Then yesterday SO gets his W2 in mail and begins getting stuff ready to file his taxes.

I told him that I was upset that he was doing this (pretty much what I said in my blog)

He said, I know you told me last year. We go back and forth about it.

I just tried to use one of those child support calculators 0n the internet. I put SO's and BM's income (guessing at BM) and it says that SO should be paying $10,249 a month. He makes less than $50,000 a year. HAHAHAHAHAH

I think a crazy BM must have hacked the site.

This morning SO was joking around and said, Didn't you wear that yesterday.

And he starts telling the dogs, Your mommy's gross, she's like a homeless person. She's gross....Then he says, she's gross like the kids.

Then I jokingly said, "Hey, no reason to insult me"

He immediately stopped joking and said, "What's wrong with my kids"

ME: They don't shower or brush their teeth.
SO: Yeah, but they're great kids
and he leaves the room

LOL, Oops

Do the Skids behave better for you or their parents

Both of my Skids have zero respect for BM and she admits they won't do anything she tells them.

SD is a great kid at our house, with few exceptions, and listens well to SO and myself.

SS is pretty bratty. Whines to get his own way and will resort to tears if necessary when dealing with SO.

SS listens well for me when SO is not around.
