For ONCE we didn't have the Skids this weekend.

I told SO after SS was a jerk during Christmas break that I need a weekend without them and he actually made it happen.

Friday we just hung out and relaxed after work. It was so nice not having to drive and extra hour in traffic to pick them up.

Saturday we went to Cocoa Village and browsed through some antique shops, record store, and art shops. Then we went to a nursery and SO bought me a beautiful Rose plant. Then we went to Lowes and got some dirt and other little plants.

Sunday we went to the Flea Market and then picked up a picture we had framed at Michaels. SO bought me lunch at a new Thai place that I've been wanting to go to.

It was soooo nice not listening to whining the entire time we shopped. Didn't have to hear I'm hungry every time we passed a place eat. I actually got to hold SO's hand whenever I wanted because I wasn't fighting for his attention with SS.

I didn't cook all weekend and we didn't have to listen to anymore whining about video games.

I can't wait until they are older and we can leave them home alone or they can stay with BM on the weekends more.
