Quick story.

Now SS16 gf is a great kid, we like her, BUT she's high maintenance in their relationship in general. They have been together 2 years. She spends a lot of time over here so we see it. Plus, SS16 talks to myself and SO when they fight. 

Today they are going to this lake area that has zip lines and stuff like that. It's 30 minutes away from our house. SS16 last night texted me and asked what I'm working today. I told him I'm off. He writes back.. "can you pick me and gf up from said place because gf doesn't want to pay for parking." 
 

Like whatttt??!! Both these kids have their OWN cars! In our state new drivers can't have anyone else in the car for a year so they need to drive themselves.  Gfs mom does anything gf wants though so I'm assuming mom was bringing them and wanted me to pick them up. ALSO.. before covid the parking couldn't have been more the. $10. Went on their site and it's f'n free right now. Kids didn't look at that though before asking. 

I wrote him back "No. I have to clean the entire house (we are having a party for SS18 grad/bday and I have to grocery shop .. got to suck it up."

He isn't up yet but, I'm going to be like ya know SS16 getting your license and a car means your parents don't have to drive you around anymore........ He will just agree with me and say it was the gf. I can't haha.
