Teaching life lessons-did I handle this correctly?

Yesterday I found out homeless looking feral child sd9 took 3 books from my baby's room. I know this because I am ocd and place very thing in a particular order on the book shelves. I recently miscarried again, but my baby room is complete and waiting for a baby to arrive Smile anyways, the baby room is stocked with books from my childhood that my mother saved for me and I want my future babies to enjoy them.

So as we go through our evaluation for a move away the evaluator asks dh about one of his businesses. This particualr business has never been mentioned to anyone except one time we were in a bind and had to take sd9 with us. Other than that we sensor what we say in front of her and do not discuss our life and business affairs while she is in the house. So the evaluator knowing to ask dh about this particular business means sd9 is actually an enemy spy planted by bm in our house. Yea!

Has anyone had a court ordered evaluation?

So we are almost to the end of our move away case where we are requesting to have sd9 during the week. Bm is a druggie/alcoholic/bipolar/certified crazy person. We had our $6k evaluations this week that dh is court ordered to pay for because bm is poor.

I’ve never met bm before because I am disgusted by the way she talks to my husband over text. Everything in her texts are vile, disrespectful and emotionally charged. I do not feel I should be subjected to trashy bm so I refuse to meet her. 

Dh pleased SD can barely read?? What??

So dh gets an alert from school with a progress report card for feral homeless looking child sd9. Her reading ability was recently tested and she is barely at a 1st grade reading level and is in the 3rd grade. Dh looked pleased that she could read. Seriously?! I realize that you have zero expectations for your spawn but come on!! My dh is a smart guy and loves to read and learn science and mechanical things. I have always had a love for literature and reading so I just do not understand not recognizing that the child is so far behind.
