OT- Seeking advice for job interview

I have an interview tomorrow for a part time job. I am so excited! The problem is, other than teaching jobs, I haven't had an interview for 10 years! What do I need to know and say for a position at a chain department store? Anything I need to know? I got the interview because I know someone that works there, and that helps, and given the changing "climate" of our area, I thinks it helped that I speak Spanish. I've also had extensive computer training, most in the educational realm, but can carry over to the business sector. Advice please?

Loghead went over to his brother's early this morning, and had a breakfast chat with Princess. They are back home now. She came to me and apologized for last night. she said she didn't mean any of it, and doesn't even know what caused her tantrum. Totally different person today. She acknowledged she needs to get Loca Grande out of her life, but doesn't know how.

They want to sweep it under the rug. I admit. I hold grudges, but this tantrum last night was so totally like another person that I can't really hold it against her...

Two positives though...

Two positive things happened during Princess's fit...

1. When Princess flipped out, and started verbally attacking me, and went to take a swing at me, that's when Loghead stepped in. "My wife WILL NOT be talked to in that way in MY house. If you don't like it, and can't control your mouth, you can leave." He went on to remind her I'm the only other figure she's ever truly had, and that if I ever did anything, it was always with her best interests at heart...

I won't go into a lot of details, but after a truly great visit with Princess this week, things totally fell apart tonight. We had a family gathering with everyone here, since over the course of the next week there are 3 birthdays in the family. Princess got angry before everyone arrived. She wanted to go back to school early tonight, to a party, and we told her no. She left in a huff anyway, later telling Loghead she was going to town to get a birthday card...

Princess spent the first part of her college Spring Break with my parents. It was kinda like boot camp, cause Dad got her up every morning, and had her doing chores and school work. He and Mom made a deal with her that if she shows them her grades each month, that as long as they are Cs and higher, she can earn $50. Dad is also going to look into getting her an internship at his company for the summer. She got a full tank of gas, and a huge paycheck for all the work she did!

I should have taken the day off. Students were complete monkeys today. had not one but 2 stupid meetings. Then I get home and house is a mess. All I get is grief from Lazy Boye when I ask him to help me out for 5 minutes. PITA pretends he doesn't hear me and Loghead has to chaperone a baseball game at his school. Remind me again- why did I give up soda?!

Oh yeah- and Princess comes home on Spring Break tomorrow.

Loca Grande told Princess to quit worrying about money, but that Princess was pretty enough to get a job as a stripper if she wanted to!

Loca Grande told her about how she saw it on TV once about pretty girls working their way through college as strippers, and not having any debt when school was over, and even having money in the bank. "You live close enough to the city. You could get a job where people you know wouldn't see you, and you could make a lot of money. You've got a great body, and you're a really good dancer."

She truly lives up to her nickname! (kinda long, but it's about the BM's stupidity....)

I just found out yesterday that Loca Grande's stepsister is pregnant! The young girl is only a year older than Princess. So let's see... the girl is a stepsister to Loca Grande through Loca Grande's mother's 4th marriage. Loca Grande's mother has 3 bio-kids, but only 2 have the same father, and she has countless step kids. This young girl has been her stepdaughter for about 10 years. The girls always thought it was funny that Princess's "auntie" was only a year older than she was...

I'm having an excellent Saturday, thank you very much!

1. It's taken a LONG time, but I finally reached my first big weight loss goal. Since August I have officially lost 10% of my original body weight! i've lost about 17 pounds, and it's starting to show! I feel great!
