Other shoe is getting ready to drop
I posted about SD63's recent Dr appt where she bombarded me with her health issues (tremors, leaking, infected breast implants, heart issues, knee requiring replacement along with the Barrett's esophagus, ulcer and anemia), car problems ("tell Dad it will cost $800 to get it to pass inspection") and problems with her one remaining kid who still speaks to her. Following that day, he and I both called several days to follow up but she never answered or returned calls. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop.
My son texted me today and asked if I knew she had several upcoming court appearances. (He checks the website). She's had 3 tickets since December including speeding, expired plates and no insurance.. Her license is "on hold". I'm not sure what exactly what that means.
We will see her next week when she pays the "rent". It will be interesting to hear the spin. Stay tuned.

Oh no! Stay strong.
Oh no! Stay strong.
Keep the enemy outside the gates!
No rescue money. For the car, for her medical issues, or for her legal troubles.
Spend it before she gets it.
Hopefully she does not get her driver's license back. She is a menace to herself and the general public behind the wheel of a multi thousand pound projective.
I'd been wondering as your
I'd been wondering as your last post about her sounded so dire......good luck!
It sounds like she shouldn't
It sounds like she shouldn't drive. In my state, Medicaid has transportation that will take members to the doctor, the lab, therapy, the drug store, the grocery store, and even the gym. The only thing is, you have to schedule it a full 3 days in advance so it requires the person to plan and participate.
Just say NO
no $800 +. Dollar. She an adult and will figure it out with out your help
