Your kid pooped on my couch on purpose don't baby him.
My two 1 year olds have diarrhea at the same time. They have been puking and having loose stools it has not been fun for them or me. After one of my little munchkins exploded on the kitchen floor I took her to the bathroom and come back and there is crap on my couch. SS6 is standing there laughing with is pants and underwears on the floor. He is laughing like its just the best joke. I sent him to the bathroom and told him to wipe himself with baby wipes and head to the corner. DH argues me that he might really have diarrhea. Diarrhea its not solid crap chunks and regardless the fact that he just stood their laughing if it was an accident he would have been crying and saying sorry not laughing. DH asked him why he poo pooed the couch. Because da da the babies don't get in trouble if they poo poo and I didn't want to go to the baffrum I was watching something. All you hear for a half hour is dadddyeeeeeeee I don't wanna be in trouble! He runs out of the corner and grab DH's shirt crying and DH has to keep putting him back until he spent his six full minutes in the corner.I spent my time scrubbing crap stains off my couch. A day in the life huh.

I would have rubbed my DH's nose in his child's "accident" and then would have made him clean up the mess.
this story will haunt me.
this story will haunt me.
in all seriousness that sucks hes 6 he knows to go to the bathroom and the TV excuse totally not okay!
at least it sounds like your DH is firm with keeping him in time out
I stress over that all of the
I stress over that all of the time. If one of our girls throws a toy DH jumps to say that's a no no but if SS does its its why did you do that that's not nice. I always have to give him the look its like he hesitates to discipline him. If SS even says daddy or I breathed on him hard BM flips outs. I don't even know. I fear for our marriage in the future there is no way my girls are going to grow up thinking their brother is more loved and spoiled when they are the littler ones.
