My SD (32) admitted, to me, that she is the center of the universe... sort of... ;)
I have not posted in a long time, primarily because it has been quiet. DH’s kids have all graduated. The two youngest (19) are off doing their own thing. One is in school and the other is moving > 1,000 miles away to work and to take some classes at the local college. DH had a small exchange with the troll (AKA BM2) regarding these kids’ college expenses and figured that she would let him know how much he is obligated to pay for them. Mind you, after hundreds of texts and phone calls over the last few years, they have, maybe, returned about 4 of them.
Tonight, the last 2 SKIDS graduate! :D
At 6 pm EST, my DH's twins graduate from high school! I don't know anyone IRL who has been happier to see a pair of kids graduate from HS, more than I.
I never thought that this day would come! His son was so close to not graduating, but ended up pulling a good final score, out of his a$$.
No. More. Child Support!

Let them eat cake! (lengthy)
There is no love lost between my MIL and myself. Initially, when DH and I got together, I was so anxious to have a good rapport with her, my BIL and SIL. I put myself out there and visited her often in order to establish a good relationship. I volunteered to help drive her 2.5 hours back and forth to her brother's house a few times per year, among a few other things that I really didn't have to do. On one of our trips, she decided that it was time to have "the talk" with me.

Am I being unreasonable? Controlling? Advice needed.
Dh wants to use the car to take his daughter, age16, to practice driving.
My SDs fart butterflies and my MIL is the Entomologist...

I have become a rather cynical person. I used to have a wonderful sense of humor; I really did! For that reason, my ramblings tend to be on the darker side of normal. Please do not confuse cynicism for anything other than that. Many apologies, for those who may be offended, by my writing style. Kudos to those who make it through my blogs and have been able to sort out all of the sordid details. I have decided to blog to divest myself of the bad energy; a therapy of sorts. Okay... onward...

I am sitting on the driver’s lap and tooting the Karma bus horn!
Hi! I am new here. I have been lurking for many many months and this is my first blog. Until now, I really haven’t figured out where to begin with my story. There are so many things to say about the cast of characters that my DH calls family! This may get long.
