The End of an Era

Hi,

My DH is moving out SD's things this weekend. Her room will be empty. A part of me wants to celebrate and a part of me wants to cry. It's been a long time coming. SD is 24 going on 12 and the typical manipulative, deceitful, high drama queen we all know or know of.

SD is movin' on!

Hi, I wanted to update my blog. My SD is now out of the house, living with BM and has found shared housing for next month. YEAH!!! My husband and I are planning a get away and our marriage not only survived the SD's attempts at driving us apart and making me the bad guy - I think it is stronger. We're having fun again - we're able to laugh again. I have no contact with SD and that's a good thing - for now. I'm contemplating on ways to build a bridge yet still keep boundaries. I think my 1st attempt will be an Easter brunch.

Hi, I'm new to this website and I can only say that I wish I'd known about it earlier. I've been a stepmother for over 15 years. I've known my SD since she was about 8. We were close when she was young but that changed as she hit puberty. She became increasingly jealous, dishonest and manipulative. She's the classic drama queen. We don't even speak to each other now and it's been about a year of that. Finally, after 6 years of college and no degree I told my husband that she couldn't live with us anymore. I cannot take it.
