:O I am new to this so please bare with me. I'm currently dating a single father of a 3 year old. We have dated for two years now and my boyfriend and his daughters mother broke up when the child was 9 months old. He has not dated anyone else besides me and I met her when she was 18 months old. I never try to be her step mom - I just don't have the role, well because i'm not - I am trying to be her friend and to make her comfortable. Problem is my boyfriend and I have had some rough patches where no affection was given at all towards each other.
