OT Kinda but Funny In An Embarrassing Sorta Way

Fading's picture

Ok so I took SD with me to Walmart last night (had her for just 2 hours so her mum could do some late Easter shopping) and we are walking down the ice cream aisle when lo-and-behold, there is a vertically challenged person (little person) walking towards us. I look over at SD and she smiles and her eyes light up and she YELLS "LOOK FADING! A GNOME! CAN I MAKE A WISH!?"
I could've melted and died right there. She yelled loud enough for Mars to hear it. It was hilarious but I was SOOOO EMBARRASSED! We had to have a talk in the car about the difference between little people and gnomes. How does she know about gnomes? We have some weird movie DH's dad taped before he passed about magical gnomes and fairies and how they grant wishes, it's her favorite. Just thought I'd share my embarrassing moment with you all. I know at least 10 of you will get a good chuckle at it! Smile

Those are the moments I say VERY LOUDLY "I am telling your mommy and daddy that I will never babysit you again, they will have to find a new babysitter" Smile Oh yes, I've done that, totally pretended I'm only the hired babysitter!
