I found this site trying to understand why ! I'm a 40 something with two beautiful well adjusted 20 something daughters with there own lives. Stayed in a loveless marriage to raise them. Finally no child responsibility and meet the man of my dreams who is a single dad of 8 year old son. How hard can that be ....? Well it's complicated... & I cant understand why I’ve issues,, i recently cancelled our wedding cause of the way the potential step child makes me feel. I just don’t get it ... and neither dose he , he's furious!
