I get so mad at my stepson as he doesn't listen and only hears what he wants to. Typical 14 year old right? But I have to stress to him over and over what I mean. How do you control your tone? I don't want my 15month old to hear that and be scared of his mommy cuz she yells at his brother, and dad is getting stressed cuz we cant get a long.

I guess "yell" was a bad word. I should have said raised my voice. But I get what you mean. Thanks. I will try anything to get this to stop. It has just gotten way out of hand.

Easy peasy. I don't really have anything to do with SS. If he is in trouble, DH takes care of it. Let me re phrase that...DH thinks he takes care of it.

When I had to talk to SD, I raised my voice just a little and took a very serious "I want to kill you" tone. Seems to have worked. I was so mad after that my whole body was shaking!
