OK this is totally off subject but what do you think about a DH who keeps his phone locked? Is he hiding something, and why would he get mad when you question him?

My first/gut would tell me
My first/gut would tell me he's hiding something. Why else lock your phone and get defensive?
Of course THIS is what my DH did so i may be bias. But people don't hide things unless they have a reason.
just my 2 cents...
God will forgive me. It's his job.

What was he hiding if you
What was he hiding if you don't mind me asking. I'm no damn fool, I know this whore talks to other women, I just haven't caught his ass> Sometimes I wonder if is worth my time and energy to hunt for the shit or should I just let him slip. Men are so damn stupid.
He had reconnected with an
He had reconnected with an old high school flame on FaceBook (Lord how i HATE FB).
it started with the phone on vibrate, when it never had been before. then he had it on him (strapped to him) till bed time. I eventually found the proof i needed (you're right many men are stupid) and we are separated now-6 months. Nearly drove myself to a nervous break down though, so i caution against even looking/hunting.
We were going to counseling but he just didn't seem into it anymore... so i go alone now. Why pay for couples counseling when i'm the only one TRUELY wanting it.
we are married 4 yrs this month. no kids together. he has 3, only 1 he sees and pays CS out the butt for the others. I have 1 DS from a previous that i get NO CS for and have an uninvolved (read-imprisoned) birth dad. Was a less complicated decision for me since we have no kids together...although still a hard decision.
Like our blended family relationship NEEDED anymore stress/drama.
When we do spend time together now he turns the phone off or doesn't even bring it.
i'm no damn fool either, even though he seems to think i am.
God will forgive me. It's his job.

...Hiding something I would
...Hiding something I would say as well - not other explanation really!!
I would say hiding
I would say hiding something....when my DH and I first got together I had mine locked because I had numbers of guys in there that I didn't want him to know about. Of course we are married now and I have removed all those numbers....but I kept them back then...just in case. It caused a lot of fights between us. Now he has my password to my phone, emails, FB...whatever he wants because I have nothing to hide.
****I can do bad all by myself****
Totally understand. I
Totally understand. I watched why did I get married too this weekend and the same shit came up LOL. Sometimes I just believe men r dogs by nature. He use to have the pin to my bank account but I changed that bcause I got tired of him knowing how much money I had. I don't trust this bastard as far as I can see him and it has been 8 years. I think if he keeps this up I'll end up divorcing his ass.
I keep mine locked. I'm not
I keep mine locked. I'm not hiding anything, I just don't think that anyone needs to read my personal messages, especially his kids.
Ask him for the lock code.
Mine locks automatically. I
Mine locks automatically. I guess it just depends on how much trust you have in your DH. It doesn't sound like you do trust him... is that right?

Is this a change in
Is this a change in behavior? or something he's always done?
My phone keypad locks auto too to keep from purse dialing.
it's easy to unlock (the phone tells you how)
but to lock the whole phone with a secret code is strange.
God will forgive me. It's his job.

No this isn't new. He put a
No this isn't new. He put a lock on my phone but he created the password, so I took it off. As of today I put a a new lock on with my own password,so I'll see how hw likes that.
If it's not new behavior
If it's not new behavior (and didn't i read ya'll have been together for 8 yrs) i wouldn't think too much of it. maybe he thinks cell phones should be private or that it would keep a stranger form using the phone if lost. My DH wouldn't even let me use his phone to call anyone, if my phone was in the other room or whatever.
what does he say when you ask about it?...besides get defensive?
God will forgive me. It's his job.

No I don't trust the bastard
No I don't trust the bastard as far as I can see him but i do still love him. I have always been the type to with stand loads of BS until I get tired. I;m just not tired yet, but my eyes aren't glued shut either
We have a "no password" rule
We have a "no password" rule on our phones. It seems strange to me that he'd lock his and then refuse to provide the password to you.
I keep my phone locked too
I keep my phone locked too for numerous reasons.
If your husband wanted to
If your husband wanted to see your phone would you show him?

Well normally yes bcause I
Well normally yes bcause I have nothing to hide bit since he wants to play the game i'll play right along. Men always want to know what ur doing but they never want to be observed. I should have just married a GORILLA LOL
Would I? Eh.. maybe...
Would I? Eh.. maybe... maybe not. To me it's like eavesdropping into my private conversations. He has no business listening to my phone calls so why would he have business reading my conversations? It's the same thing to me. I'm entitled to my privacy and if he doesn't trust that then he has problems. But that's just my opinion.
What would you do if you
What would you do if you said to your husband out of the blue " can I see your cell phone?" and he got mad and said no. Would that make you suspicious?
" Faith is a bird that feels dawn breaking and sings while it's still dark"-R.Tagore
I have no reason to ask for
I have no reason to ask for his phone so that doesn't mean much to me.... and if he was doing something wrong he would be smart enough to delete his text messages... lol... if a person is doing things they shouldn't be doing, they will eventually get caught.
I agree with this. soon my
I agree with this.
soon my DH started deleting the # from his call log in his phone thinking i'd never know.
I saw it all over the phone bill once i'd had enough of his games.
God will forgive me. It's his job.

FDH keeps his locked so that
FDH keeps his locked so that SD5 can't use it, but he gave me the password and has no problem if I wanna look. If he refused to give me the password stuff, I'd think he was hiding something.
"Live well, Love much, Laugh often."
Yeah he's hiding something.
Yeah he's hiding something. My husband doesn't care if I look at his cell phone and he keeps it unlocked at all times...so do i.

look at the phone bills:)
look at the phone bills:) there is your answer.
that was how i found my
that was how i found my answers.
but again didn't want to encourage snooping cause you might REALLY not like what you find.
i know i didn't and it was really bad when i had proof and STILL DH lied.
Men~~~shaking my head.
God will forgive me. It's his job.

Why do they still lie when
Why do they still lie when the proof is right in front of them. That is a dead give away that the man hhas a problem with compulsive lying. Did u no there r some people who just lie to lie. How pathetic!!!!!
BF bugged BM to find out she
BF bugged BM to find out she cheated. no joke...cause she lied her way out of so many "catches"...and she still lied!
I've seen things like that
I've seen things like that on line. How far do I really want to go to catch his lying ass
Unfortunatly I can't because
Unfortunatly I can't because the bill is in his name and he made sure that paper bills stop coming to the house a long time ago which is another indication that he is hiding something. At one point I thought about hiring a private investigator to follow his ass, but it isn't worth the time or money. I firmly believe that when it's time for the shit to hit the fan it will blow.
hmmm...well...that is a bit
hmmm...well...that is a bit suspicious.
are you on that bill too?
OMG if I get into the meat
OMG if I get into the meat of it u would really think I was crazy he has one bill in his name and then one we have together. So he has two phones oh believe me the one we have together he barely uses because he know I check that bill.
ok that us messed up.
ok that us messed up. seriously.
forget the PI. you need a friend with a car he does not recognize and follow his ass.
I agree, something stinks in
I agree, something stinks in B-land.

I get incredible hulk mad
I get incredible hulk mad when i know he's lying to my face. For me it's a hard situation bcause I have 3 small children, a 5yr old son and 1yr old twins. I'm in the military and he stays at home with the kids.
9/10 times, he's hiding
9/10 times, he's hiding something! I have a wonderful fh and he did the same thing. Turned out he was hiding something. Wasn't a huge deal, but we had to work through it. I told him I didnt want the phone locked anymore. He said he couldnt do this because people may get personal information. I told him that there wasnt anything left to hide from me and I wanted the password. So, I promised that I would trust him by not checking it, if he would trust me and give me the password. It has worked out well now. Every once in a while, I will ask to use his phone to make a phone call to make sure that the password is the same.
