my ss7 calls me stepmom

Ok am I crazy? I asked my husband to have a talk with my ss7 about what he calls me. He calls me stepmom, not just when telling people who I am but when he talks to me. When he needs something I'll here stepmom yelled across the house, is it wrong that I just want to be called by my name, or maybe even nannie which is what my niece and nephew call me.

Am I wrong?

Am I wrong to want my husband to wake up early when his son is here. My ss7 wakes up pretty early in the morning , I don't think I should have to be the only one awake with him, I want my husband to wake up to. My ss7 always even though I've told him a thousand times to read or play quitely if he wakes up first wakes up mine and my husbands daughter who is only 10mths old. So if I have to be up and taking care of our daughter because his child woke her up, he should be up caring for his son. Is that wrong?

he is going to kill me

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK I needed that now if only I could really do that. My ss7 is killing me, I'm watching him tonight while my husband is at work(that is a whole other story I wrote about earlier) My ss7 isn't listening to me at all, its been a fight over everything. I don't think I'll make it the next hour till his bedtime, which I'm sure will just be another fight. Sorry I just needed to vent a little bit.

why get the kid early if you won't be home

I am so mad right now. My ss7 had the day of school today so my husband volinteered to go get him last night and keep him today, even though he won't be home he will be at work. When I asked him about it he said he would get to see him a few hrs this morning since he doesnt go to work till 2:30 and a few hrs last night. OK fine but he hasn't spent anytime with him, last night he worked on his new computer and this morning he has just layed around and watched tv. So what was the point of getting him early?

I am not my ss7's mother why doesn't my husband understand

My husband and I argue all the time about my ss7. My stepson doesn't listen to me, respect me, or particulary care for me unless someone else trys to get my attention. My husband wants me to be my ss7's mom when he is here and I try to explain to him that I am not his mom, he has a mom I'll feed him and clean up after him but there is a certain point were he is not my responsibility. I love my bd she is my whole world I stay home with her and she is never not taken care of.

I really resent my stepsons presence in my home

I have been with my husband for almost four years, we have been married for 6months and lived together for a year before that. We were really happy and I was fine with my stepson at first he was always sweet to me and would try to behave the best that a 6 yr old can behave but that all changed. Right before we moved in together I found out I was pregnant, I love my husband so much but I almost had to leave him then. He had my stepson at 19 with someone he hated and then felt like he was forced to marry so he didn't want another child at that time so he asked me to consider abortion.
