SD and her DH got a cat when SD was pregnant for BJ. Then they got rid of the cat because they couldn't handle his meowing at night. You can't handle a cat meowing, but you're going to have a baby? Good idea.

She got a dog from her mom a while back. She is now trying to find a new home for the dog because she just can't handle it on top of a toddler and a newborn coming any day, and it's just all too much right now.

Every single time, SD? Really?

It seems I cannot say anything at all about DD19 on FB without SD22 getting a cob up her ass about it. A while back, I posted that I was excited for Thanksgiving break because DD will be home from college for a few days and that I miss her. SD comments that she hasn't seen her dad or brothers since May, so she knows how I feel. Actually, she saw them in June at BS1's bday party and in July at a family BBQ.

How dare you do anything fun?

BJ's bday party was Saturday. SD22 did FB invitations, but didn't send real ones. FDH doesn't have FB. I told him a week or 2 ago when the party was. I had plans earlier in the day Saturday. I went to take my niece to get her school pictures done, I took the kids to the bounce house, then the kids, my gramma and I had dinner with DD19 in the city she is in for college. I had to take my gramma home, and stop at my mom's, then I came home. FDH never said one word about wanting to go to that party, and I don't feel it's my job to remind him repeatedly.

What's good for yours is NOT good for mine.

I posted on FB that I invited my niece on an outing with us in a couple of weeks and that I hope I don't regret it. My niece has shit parents and it shows in her behavior. I haven't had her in 7 months because she was so awful the last time I had her. I'm hoping 7 months is long enough that she will behave this time. If not, it will be even longer before I get her again after this.

The baby shower thing gets even better...

For some reason that I will never understand, SD22 has family of mine on her FB, people she has met once or twice, some of them not at all. I spent the day with my cousin's wife, and she told me that SD22 contacted her, basically hinting around that she wanted help with her self thrown baby shower. My cousin's wife. WTH?? This relative does hobby photography, and SD got with her for pictures once, and that's the most they really know of each other.

Don't know whether to laugh or roll my eyes.

OMG. SD22 is throwing herself a baby shower. What the fuck? I guess that's appropriate because she's having a girl this time? So tacky. I will not be going. I already planned on a practical gift when the baby is born, like diapers, but that's it. I absolutely will not give the impression that I think this is acceptable by going. Not gonna happen. She is unfuckingbelievable.

Holy shit. SD22 just sent me a fb invitation to BJ's bday party. Must be she's following my lead, because it's just gonna be a small party at her apt. I do big parties on milestone years and little parties that are just dinner and cake at our house with the grandparents on the other years. I really thought she would be a big blowout every year kind of mom, but wow.

Now it makes sense.

DS6 came home with a school handbook today. Some of you might remember that SD22 had a horrific school skipping habit the year she lived with us, and FDH condoned it. If she said she was "sick", he believed her. Or if he didn't, he just didn't want to fight with her about it. He always takes the easy way out, even if it's the worst way.
