My own kids are 20, 18 & 15. My step daughther is 12. I prefer to hang out with my kids over my step daugther. I don't mind my kids being around where as my step daughter I prefer her not be around when it's not her weekend. It's not that I don't like her I just prefer my kids more. I don't feel the same about her and I never will. My husband wants everything to be the same and equal but it's not. I don't know how.
