My SD reminds me of Casey Anthony
:jawdrop: I watched Dr. Phil yesterday and as the parents were describing Casey's behavior, I kept thinking, SD29 is JUST like that. Elaborate lies, stealing, making every excuse in the book etc. The only difference is there isn't a dead child if you don't count SD's multiple abortions.
Casey Anthony didn't tell her parents that she was pregnant until she was 5 months along and Dr. Phil said that was a red flag that something about her wasn't right. Well SD hid her pregnancy right up until she gave birth!
SD has made up elaborate lies about her employment, her "friends", her education, and every other part of her life.
She's stolen money and manipulated money out of people, just like Casey.
Dh was watching it with me and I think that it was an eye opener for him as well, at least I hope that it was.
I really think that we have a sociopath on our hands! :O
Sounds like our BM. ---and
Sounds like our BM. ---and you know the apples don't fall too far from the tree.
What a comparison.
What a comparison.
I agree with you Stepaside.
I agree with you Stepaside. Except that I see similar/ worrisome problems is women my generation.
I was listening to NPR to a program about marriage, specifically interracial marriage, but one of the issues they touched upon that concerns marriage across racial lines, is how women deal with earning money. At best we are taught to earn money to take care of ourselves, but not t provide for the family as a whole. Men have been ok with putting money in the family pot, but women see their earned money as their own and resent having to pitch in at all. I see and hear this all the time, including here. Women my generation are also entitled. Just think of those that want their SO to get LOANS!!! so they can get them engagement rings...
Not all of us are like that, but enough of us that I find myself embarassed at times. We have made great strides , then some of our behaviors just set us back a big chunk. Who is to blame? I'd say a big mix of things. Media, lack of family, consumerism, mothers that can't accept aging and show their daughters that it is all about the looks, men who are guided by their groin, schools that can't get rid of teachers that don't care, bigotry, lack of empathy as a society, entitlement as a society. These messed up girls did not rise in a vacuum. The idea that we fare best if young, ditzy and pretty is not a new one. Being a capable, self reliant woman is not a widespread goal and it still intimidates the majority of men.
Back to OP, I find comparing a woman, a family member, that seems t have multiple personality disorders, with a murderer of that calibre- quite disturbing.
It's not just the females of
It's not just the females of this generation.....it's the males too. I wish my SS23 would go away and NEVER come back. He lies, steals, acts like he owns MY house, has two babies with 2 different moms (that he does not help care for) and on and on and on.
