We are waiting to hear back from the judge on his decision on custody. It has been 5 days since we went to court and the judge said that bcuz he is sometimes slow that it could take 2 wks but no more than that. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience where the judge has issued custody to the parent that the guardian ad litem has recommended custody be given to? I have learned that the guardian ad litem has some weight on the judge in the decision but Im just wondering how much the recommendation to the judge actually matters?
