DH's meeting with the "GAL" went great, we have to remember she's working for US and not the enemy
She is coming to our house Sat. morning @ 9a.m. to see how well my children interact with SS and to see if he has a bed at our home, and how we live- No one is really very coherant @ 9a.m., but O.K...
The Guardian ad litem let us know that BM called her on the day of our first court date and stood the GAL up, and guess what, she did the same thing last week- so she has stood up the woman investigating her TWICE.. She's nuttier than I originally thought.
Who would do that?
The GAL kept asking DH -How he would feel about having custody of SS and DH said it would be ideal- Now all we need is a bigger house!

I'm confused
With your title. Aren't the GAL's supposed to be working for SS? Maybe it's different in each case?
I know that our GAL felt like yours seems to. Hard to remain impartial when BM tells SD that she can't trust GAL to keep SD's confidence. That's what made our GAL finally decide to suggest we get FC too.
To be politically correct Yes that is right
I guess I should be more clear in saying that SS DH and I are a whole unit, I didn't mean for Me & DH only.
Our SS will be 5 in less than 2 weeks and can't explain anything to anyone unfortunately, we are his voice and about the only one he has
I see - but since you are the level headed family
The GAL will lean toward you. At least I found that to be the case with ours. We always stayed our course and allowed BM to use the rope the GAL gave her to hang herself along the way.
OH just read the part about him only being FIVE. Oh Mrsparks....FIVE? Poor little guy caught up in BM's games. How sad for him. Thank God he has you.
Thank you!
It's scary because he's so underdeveloped and he has come a long way when we do get to see him, now it will all be court ordered and I hope we prevail
