Just a suggestion...
Regarding some of the layout of the site...
I wondered if it would be possible to move the Who's Online section further up the page? I personally would like to see it below my account section because I like to see if any "buddies" are online, and scrolling to the end is well... annoying to me! LOL. (No disrespect- the site is great!)
But I also wondered if there was a way to add like a buddy notification, such as with IM's programs. Little smilie or icon next to one's name that indicates... "Yes, I'm on!" with the ability for us to turn it off if we want a little privacy from time to time, such as with an IM program.
Just a couple of my thoughts.
My gripe
I'd love to see just the first few lines of a new blog instead of the whole first paragraph on the main page. (Some of our first paragraphs can be awfully long-winded!) That way you can fit more entries on the main page for us lazy types who don't like to go back and forth to page 2, 3, 4, etc. And I'd like the Recent Comments closer to the top, too.

Hey, Anne...
I just automatically use the "Recent Posts" link from my account section instead of the front page.... LOL. I'm too damn lazy too! LOL.

OH, PS...
I also wanted to add the ability to log on in invisible mode if need be. I know that there has been some issues in the past with posters logging on and getting harassed from time to time, and sadly, we lose those users, or they create a new identity. Then we worry about them and can't really tell if "is that you?" I think if we can have options to log in 'invisibly', then we could eliminate some of those issues... or for people who just want to browse but have 'identity crisis'. LOL. Stealth mode for those who want to be a little more private. If any of this makes sense... :?

Oh, sorry...
but I had another thought...
(Yeah, just call me a brat with a suggestion box for a head.)
I would like to see a better functioning ability to search posts. There has been countless times that I've literally wasted a few hours looking through posts trying to find something that I find a month later, beneficial to me now.... and of course, I have no idea how, who, or what thread the subject was in. So, I start to do a blind guess on who it might have been, find some post they posted recently, and start looking through all the posts listed on the 'tracking tab' from their profile page.
Well, I would like to be able to just search for, say all my posts, search by users, or subject, date, etc and have them listed... if this is making sense?
Thanks! (The site is great!)
