O/T 2024: The year of Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Bots?!

I don't know about others but I've noticed a significant increase in on-line content which is created by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Whether it's supposed "news" stories, travel-related suggestions, marketing ploys, and even input on forums.

IMO, it's so disappointing. You can no longer trust that anything you read is real or if it is created content. Right now, it's pretty obvious if you read with just a slightly cynical eye - you can see the perfect grammar. The similar phrasing. The brand-new "people" who create an account or post items on-line. Call them out and they even have a canned response which claims they are "real."  But every single day, and every single piece of posted content, is quickly being integrated so that future AI-generated products are becoming more and more realistic and harder to discern.

I just wonder what this bodes for communities like STalk.
