If only

SKids had a visit with social worker for social study, came home and told DH the social worker asked where they have the most fun. Skids told social worker they have more fun with BM because she takes them to Chuck E Cheese on each of her weekends.

DH is furious, tells me, "well if BM paid child support or had to provide full time care for kids we could take them to Chuck E Cheese every weekend too".

Yea, if only.

If only DH never dipped his dick into BM without covering it up first - HA! Then none of these issues would exist eh? Wink

There is a reason why SS had to repeat the "mantra" before leaving the house as a teen.

No glove no love and .... wrap it before you tap it.

Trust me, we do a whole lot more with skids than pay for their entertainment. To be honest, I think all of the family game nights, movie nights, backyard football and baseball, bike rides and park trips are what has DH blood boiling.

I think their answer had a lot to do with this being BM observation period with the kids. So she took them, and i would not be surprised if they went to Chuck E Cheese just before their visit.

I sure hope so because lately I've been feeling the social worker seems so uninterested and to caught up in her other cases to pay attention to DH case.

Don't know how old your step-kids are but when mine was younger, we were only as good as the last gift or the last fun activity SS had.

One summer we did so much with SS; Amusement park, visit the grandparents, the zoo, the water slides. I think I spent a week's salary on the kid.

The weekend before school started up again, his Dad took him camping.

Imagine me and DW's disappointment when SS's "What did you do last summer" assignment was a two page account of that one weekend with his Dad.

Yupp. SS6 and SS8 are all about the last best thing. Last summer we went on a week long trip that included stops at what seemed like every aquarium, amusement park, zoo, fair, movie theater and kid friendly restaurant between home and our final destination, at the end of the trip, grandparents wanted to know what they had done and all the kids could come up with was "we ate hamburgers and fried pickles"....which was the very last thing we did on our way home...even worse, the burger place was in town and we have gone there before.

I told DH they are just kids, but I imagine it bugs him that BM gets to do the fun things while shirking much of the responsibilities that go along with being a parent.
