I came here a few years ago and posted about evil SD13. This forum helped me tremendously. Our family was nearly torn apart.
Yesterday SS19 graduated high school and SD rode with us to the ceremony. We even ate lunch with BM!! Everyone got along, and I had a tear in my eye watching him accept his diploma. BM and I will never be friends but at least she didn't try to kill me-- there was so much animosity between us but when I went in their house, I almost felt sorry for them.
I knew she had gone through a rehab and NA meetings, almost lost her nursing license and filed bankruptcy TWICE. And I sound petty saying this- I know money and posessions are nothing-but the house was shabby looking, furniture old and tired, BM weighs about 300 lbs now, and it was just sad.
I had gone there thinking I would show her up and ended up feeling just so immature for thinking like that.
She raised SS and he turned out ok so far. He has a scholarship for vo-tech school and is a nice kid. That's the one she KEPT-- SD came to live with us cause BM couldn't handle her. She graduates H.S. next year.
Oh well, just wanted to thank all of you for your support, I come here and read mostly, and it helps. Best of luck to everyone who posts here. It will all work out in the end. Thank you....
