Do it!!! Spring for the LV...

They hold their value great. My LV speedy is about 7 years old and it still looks beautiful. Not to mention it costs about $200 MORE now than when I bought it, so they definitely get more valuable.

As long as you get a classic style, you can consider it as an investment Wink

Perfume. My collection is embarrassingly large. Niche and expens ... er, good mass market such as Chanel and Guerlain. Also I'm a DIY skin care junk ... er, aficionado, so I have a really accurate digital scale that probably got me flagged by the FBI as a potential drug dealer, and an embarrassingly large collection of little vials and tubes bearing such labels as "idebenone ... MKSP ... palmitoyl pentapeptide ... " You get the picture.

Mainly salicylic acid. I occasionally use glycolic acid, and even more occasionally, like once a year, TCA--very, very gingerly. I think some of the retinoids are actually more effective with daily use.

Actually, I just saw that LadyFace started it. But I'll take the blame since I've been kinda mean to her lately! Biggrin

That is not lame at all. I think having time to read an enjoyable book is luxurious.

ETA: Add a bath and some wine and it's like Heaven. Wink

Perfume - DS & Durga brand is a new favorite.
High quality sterling silver jewelry. I'm lucky to live in a city with a lot of cool and affordable jewelry makers.
Purses/totes. Mmmmm. And yeah, eating sushi.

Chloe and Celine handbags (love bags - they don't care if you've put on weight and they don't hurt like heels)

Prada black dresses

But I buy very few and then wear them to death.

All you can eat sushi

Acrylic nails

Good books

Lush bath stuff (great when I have good books to read!)

1000 thread count sheets. big, fluffy towels. stuff that i bought when i was single, there's no way in h3ll we could afford that now. *sigh*

i do however get my nails done (maybe every three weeks). and when i do wear makeup, i MUST have my merle norman eyeliner.

dh bought me a surprise coach purse in 2015. i carry it daily and it still looks brand-new.

steak.

cheese. dh gets me small chunks of the really expensive stuff that gets marked down before it goes bad, so it doesnt hurt the shopping budget.

Id say mine is skin stuff right now. Its the most expensive thing i spend on any one item.

I recently bought a derma roller and with just one session the broken capillaries by my mouth from hypermesis when i was prego faded a great deal...yes i puked so hard it broke vessels in my face so awful and that was over 2 years ago. I can do another rolling this friday. I also bought some hydracolic acid and some argan oil.

I didnt think the roller would have any effect on the capillaries but i was impressed. My skin feels a bit tighter but i have seen no reduction in ice pic scarring i have a few. I have 2 large wrinkles somewhat deep on my forehead . I saw a bit if reduction in the depth of one. Not sure if its just from products or the roller is actually creating collegen.

I used to be a long time user of clinique and still love the face wash but i am now just using the moisturizer on my body to use off the bottle. The oil works so much better for me.

I have like 4 pairs of shoes and 2 purses so i think i can work on skin lol

Mmmm. Yes to kombucha.

Also yes to skin and hair care products. Restocking my Aveda hair products is always a warm and fuzzy luxury.

Wine - I have a wine fridge in which resides wine I cannot drink until at least 2020 - 2025 (not so far away now! that I've had for about 15 years. I pick up bottles to age now and again when stock gets low.

Perfume - Gucci. Love their perfume. DH bought me a lovely Ralph Lauren perfume last year I like a lot too.

Coffee - will not drink cheap coffee. There's a roasterie near us and I spring for that stuff when I can ($15 per pound or more). Otherwise it's back to the $10 per pound for regular drinkable brands.

Shoes - will not buy cheap shoes because if my feet are not comfy I am very, very irritable.
