Tone Up Tuesday

Thankyou Tuff, for the awesome "self love" blog today Smile I feel quite happy with my big beautiful eyes and my gorgeous lips right now LOL!

Well, my week has been awesome. After my bad week last week, I had to snap myself out of it somehow, and found that I was able to do that by googling new recipes to get myself excited about healthy food again Smile

Every night we've tried something new! This is kind of a big deal as DH and I tend to stick with out old favourite recipes over and over lol!

We even tried two different types of pizza!!!

We didn't like the look of the toppings in either of these pizza recipes, so we just made up our own depending what we had/what we like. We literally used the recipes for the pizza base.

The cauliflower one was kind of soft, you wouldn't be able to pick it up like a regular slice of pizza. But it still tasted really nice. DH and I will definately make that again Biggrin

You could pick up the fathead one, and I really liked it but DH didnt, so might not make that again :/

We also decided to try something totally different and make our own low carb muesli and snack bars! Some of the ingredients are expensive :O But turned out to be really worth it, as the things we chose to make have been lasting a really long time, and we also have leftover ingredients to make more Smile

I made this coconut muesli granola stuff for breakfasts as I've been getting bored of eggs in the morning! You need *very* little of it to keep you full for a long time, it's kind of crazy the tiny little bowl I have, maybe three large spoons of it! Any more and I'd feel too full/uncomfortable, it would be too much.

And I made these bars to snack on. I've found these are really filling too, so I've literally taken a bite of a bar whenever I've felt hungry, and put it back in tupperware. Yesterday I didn't even make it through a whole bar, lol!

Anyhoo, I've just realised that the recipes I've shared here are all from the same website lol! But there are so many more recipes I've found that are really good from other places.

I'm excited about food again, and all it took was a little bit of googling, and some fun experimenting in the kitchen, yay :) 

I highly recommend it! Hope everyone else is doing ok! X

I fell off the wagon today Sunny. I did a month straight and today a coworker brought in home made cookies and I was so hungry and I think I ate half the bag. UGH! I was doing so good.

BUT tomorrow I am back on the wagon! My clothes were fitting too

Omigosh NoWire, do NOT make the mistake I did!!! I fell off the wagon that one day, and then it turned into almost a whole week! I was so miserable in my last blog as it had spilled over for days and days Sad

But. As my mom always says "just because you broke a teacup, doesn't mean you have to smash the whole set"

Like you said. Try try try and get back on the wagon tomorrow, you have been doing so amazingly well! I can't believe how good you've been X

The most important thing to remember, is *don't feel bad* This stuff happens. It's hard. real hard. 

Especially as you have set yourself such strict guidelines, cutting out carbs completely. (I'm still eating some here and there, just cut down a lot) But if that's what you think is best for you, then you can do it! You've *been* doing it for the last month or so! Go NoWire Go! Biggrin

Btw, the bars are so handy. Check out the snacks section of that website. 

A lot of lo carb snacks that are suggested elsewhere, are literally just meat! Like chicken or ham LOL! This website has some good ideas that won't be boring Smile

but I think that's where I went wrong. I had no low carb snacks and I got too hungry. I need those bars!
