Am I over reacting
Not sure if this is normal or not but I would love to hear all or some of your opinions. My Sd6 has been sleeping with no undies since she was off diapers I'm guessing, I've been in her life a little over three years now and this was already going on, apparently she's had a rash when she was very little from her wearing underwear and Bm suggested or maybe their doctor suggested she not wear underwear at bedtime. I've asked my fiancé about this and I've expressed to him I found this very strange. His reply was what I have said about the rash and that his ex told him this is good for her peepee as he called it to breathe, apparently the mom doesn't sleep with undies which is fine and neither do since i met him, difference is we are adults. I just wish he would put a stop to this and asks her to wear underwear to sleep from now on since shes getting older. Bottom line is shes 6 years old now she got a rash before maybe she wasnt wiping properly and this caused her to get a rash. She can obvioulsy wear them now and not get a rash so why tale them off for bedtime?! I would really love to bring this up to my fiance once again but this time demand she wear underwear to sleep. Am I over reacting?

I heard on the radio there
I heard on the radio there are certain cultures and just people who don't sleep with any underwear so the lady parts can breathe. It's a whole thing, and must have been around for quite a while already. I think it's a lifestyle choice, but if she wears a gown or pants, I don't see how that would affect you (or anyone, including roommates in the future.) I also don't think it's a battle worth fighting.
I didn't when I was little
I didn't when I was little either. My doctor said the same thing let it breathe.
bs4 has a thing about being
bs4 has a thing about being naked. he wants to be naked all the time. and he insists on sleeping naked. bd18 was never like that at all. the only time i make bs wear pj's is when we are at someone else's house or it's going to be cold outside at night. otherwise, i let it go. i don't think it's a big deal. as long as ss isn't sharing a bed with anyone or running around the house naked in front of everyone, not a big deal.
Your right lol I just thought
Your right lol I just thought she is to small to have this habit. Maybe I'm just thinking to much and trying to find excuses. Think I have to much time on my hands and over thinking today. This is not worth fighting or bringing it up to his attention.
Thanks everyone, I have also
Thanks everyone, I have also known for a long time it's ok to not wear undies so the lady part can breathe I just didn't know it was ok to do at a young age.
I think it's more important
I think it's more important at a young age since sometimes we young'uns are not the most fastidious creatures, and bacteria love moist places. if you let it "breathe" and air out, less likely for bacteria to breed.
Had a UTI when I was a kid so I also went through a while without undies. Little kids don't clean as well and soemtimes parents aren't always on top of them about it.
Funny, boys don't have this problem.
My boys never wear underwear
My boys never wear underwear to bed, just pj's and I have to remind bs4 to put underwear on in the morning before kinder otherwise he would freeball all day! Not sure when they developed the no jocks thing but both refuse to wear them to bed.
My DH reminds his princess
My DH reminds his princess every morning to put some undies on if not she will forget as she has in the past.
My 80 yo Mom has always said,
My 80 yo Mom has always said, do not sleep in a bra or undies cause it cuts off the circulation. She never put any of the kids, grandkids, great grandkids in undies to sleep.
Yes I guess everyone is
Yes I guess everyone is different, my mom always made me wear undies it was never an option. Of coarse now I don't wear any to bed, my bio11 wears undies all the time and if she didn't Im almost positive I would tell her to put some on. Bio11 and Sd6 have their own room and wear pjs.
