Jimmy Buffett's Come Monday is one of my faves.
When we lived in Enid,
When we lived in Enid, Oklahoma, we frequented a local club. No cover charge normally due to DH being a vet. One particular Saturday night, we decided to go out. The bar was packed, with a line out the door. $10 cover due to live music.
DH grumbled and whined and we almost left to go swill beer at our biker bar. Doorman let us in with no cover. Band of the night was Tommy Tutone.
It was a great show. Tommy Heath, the lead singer came down during a break, and bummed cigarettes from us. At the end of the night, we were waiting for a cab because we were too intoxicated to take the motorcycle home. This skinny little young thing did a dance, and Tommy signed her thigh. I knew I couldn't do that, but DH got him to sign my cleavage.
