Ran into BM...

It's been years since I have seen BM.

Remember how I posted that she moved in with her BF who lives a mile down the road from me? And I was paranoid about running into her? And everyone here is like it's very unlikely you will run into her...blah blah blah.... Blum 3

Disengaged from skids but came across this that YSD posted on FB:

I have a baby, getting a car, getting an apartment, starting college in January and getting married all in this year of being 18. On top of never been to jail not into drugs and im able to marry my baby dad. It's all happening early in my life but sometimes that's okay.

CS is officially over!

Even though YSD graduated in May CS was still being pulled from DH's check and placed in a reserve account. Looks like what DH owed got disbursed yesterday to BM (Finally!) and he's getting a refund for the rest.

I remember 5 years ago (when things first got bad with skids) and thinking that there was no way I was going to make it 5 years, assuming things would be better once they aged out and DH didn't have that tie (CS) to BM.

DH wants the skids to come over... but not really

I told DH on Monday that my mom was coming over Tuesday to use our washer/dryer and that she was going to do some cleaning. (She has done this plenty of times before, no issues).

So DH makes comments- oh my mom should come over and clean too. :? Okay your mom lives 6 hours away.

Then it was- Why does she have to come over and clean? Maybe MSD should come over and clean. :?

I'm thinking- MSD who stole from me and put her hands on me who you haven't talked to in over 2 years? You want her to come over and clean?

OT- Depression- How do you help someone who has it?

I have suffered from depression. I know how it can make you feel. However I have been lucky enough to help myself out of it. Working out was great for me. I don't care what anyone else says, it helped me. I understand I probably had a mild case of depression. I also was on Xanax during the height of skid drama for anxiety, stress, etc. When I do feel myself being depressed I try to refocus myself, not drink (alcohol as a depressant) and try to help myself through it.

OSD gave birth yesterday to grand baby #6.

She decided not to give baby the middle name of the Grandpa whose name she did not know. Looks like he got BM's brothers middle name.

Her DH is also in jail right now so he was not able to attend the birth. He does have a court date tomorrow so I'm sure they have their fingers crossed so that he can get out and meet his 5th child. (2 by another woman, new baby and the 2 he has with OSD ages 2 and 3).

How would you take this text?

DH's friends wife sent us (me and DH) a group text with a digital invitation for her birthday party with the message "Hello, Hope you guys can make it". #1- the RSVP date on the invite had already passed so we were obviously an after thought, but whatever.

So I respond back to the group text: I'll be out of town for my cousin's wedding. I'm sure DH will be there. Thank you for the invite. Hope you are doing well.
