Wow, what a story.  I guess we should all know our state laws regarding this topic.

I haven't watched the video yet but I can't stand them living here under 18 and there is no way in hell I'd voluntarily sign up for another unlimited years of skid territory invasion.

id rather live alone in a cardboard box than have some overgrown lazy disrespectful skid in my house indefinitely after they graduated high school or turned 18

Another reason to never live in the people's republic of California.

In some States, , shooting a home invader is often celebrated.  Castle Law and stand yiur ground States give people like this dirt bag reason for second thoughts on pulling this crap.

The federales want universal tenant/squatter/house guest protection:  judge perogative only evictions, radical rent control, etc etc

Trespassing is a crime.  Fraudsters presenting phoney leases should be ousted on verified owner's say so.

Neighbours contacted them o/seas to advise squatters had moved in and after the ordeal of being locked out from re-entering your country due to limited flights, flight caps, border closures etc and many left homeless o/seas to come home and deal with squatters, its moments like those you'd wish guns were legal so you could shoot them for trespassing into your home illegally as they had no permission to enter in the first place.

there were even cases of these trespassing squatters damaging the homeowners property, damaging previous locks and installing their own new locks so actual homeowner couldn't enter. Call the cops and they say their hands are tied

take it to court and court rules in your favour, squatters ignore it by the deadline you now call the police to forcibly remove them. All the while you can't enter your home while these squatters damage it, do drugs and smoke etc

i also saw many tenants trying to use the moratorium on rental evictions to indefinitely never be kicked out because there was a shortage of rental homes or home to purchase being available and they were intentionally not paying full rent or trying to get out of being evicted because rents had increased due to msrket supply and demand and they could no longer afford it. Property owners tended to be elderly and retired and couldn't go without an income so its cheaper to sell home and cut their losses which meant tenancy ends when home is sold, they just have to give tenants notice and tenants were trying to prevent sale from going through by themselves not leaving or finding any loophole.

they only cared for themselves
