smooth sailing....until evil SD's weekend comes

Sorry I havent blogged in a few days (It has been busy) so my husband seems to think the problem is "solved" even though he only talked to her and she pouted and hid out up in her room all weekend. He even went as far as to suggest we take his kids for 2 weeks this summer! I told him flat out NO WAY. He works from 6am-5pm.....6 days a week, I would be the one having to deal with them 24/7. My SS is fine, even though he can be annoying at times, he is not hard to deal with, the problems with evil SD have been going on for years and years.

well its Sunday, the BM will be here to pick up my SS and SD. This weekend has gone somewhat smoothly since dad's "talk" with SD. I'm not overly impressessed with how he "handled" it (I feel he coddled her again) but she has spet almost the entire weekend up in her room watching movies and I HAVE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. Her excuse is she feels I treat SS better....her dad explained he has been around for over the last yr (so I dont have to be alone with her) and says that isnt so and she KNOWS it.

Finding this site has been the BEST thing for me. Talking to others who KNOW what I am going through and can relate is soothing to me (meaning Im not crazy) DH took her upstairs to talk to her tonight....I doubt it will help, but its a step in the right direction. She was still up to her food antics at dinner (playing games, chewing on the same bite of food for 10 min-trying to annoy, DH actually told her to eat haha) but no disrespectful comments or looks...good so far.

I am back with a "fake" name...don't know why I would use my real one in the 1st place. Well, today is the day, my evil SD is due over for her every other weekend visit, and as usual I have anixety.

I have told my husband flat out that if he doesn't speak to her and punish her for her innappriorate behavior than I will flat out ignore her all weekend and do NOTHING to help with her (he can make dinner, clean up after her, etc) I am at the end of my rope and being 7 mos preg I don't need the additional stress.
