I barely tolerate my ss16 as it is, but when he is home sick WHILE I AM HOME SICK, it nearly drives me to insanity. I am not sure of there are any of you smoms with a teenager that simply repels you almost similar to two negative magnets. If he walks into the room I feel my skin actually crawl, and I am ALWAYS aware of where he is at when he is home. So today he is sick and while I am sitting on the couch catching the news with my first cup of coffee, he comes clomping down the stairs with his big blanket, pillow and stuffed animal in tow. I didn't say anything and he starts making his nest on the couch. My DH comes down from his shower and immediately sees my face and tells ss to go and camp out in the rec room so as to keep germs away from me b/c I have to get well to get back to work tomorrow and away from DH who starts Chemo this week. I just want to get back to work so I can get out of this house.
