BM trying to join the Army Reserves
Oh my god!!! BM is trying to join the Army Reserves and when asked on FB what she was doing with "the youngin" she responded...
"He'll still be very taken care of by me, his father, and my parents :)"
REALLY?!?!?! I mean, I don't really expect her to say that she only has her "youngin" on weekends and that I take him to school everyday and that her parents NEVER watch him (my MIL basically raised him till I came along and he started school) but come on!!! She really thinks she's MOTY and doesn't participate in his day-to-day life at all!!! She gets her fun time on the weekend and we have the "grind" every day! She only sees the military as a free ride to school. She obviously doesn't understand or take into consideration that she could be DEPLOYED!!!

She will either have a very rude awakening when she figures out the Army is real, or she will drift even further from her child when she is consumed by all the male attention she is going to receive--after boot camp anyway. It's not the fact that she could deploy, it's the matter of WHEN she'll deploy. Unfortunately she will get extra pay if she claims the child she doesn't even have custody of.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if within a year after joining she got knocked up.
