I plan to take your advice and head down to the police station and the courthouse on Monday get some official stuff, but I decided to go for it and paid the $50 for the online background check yesterday. THE BEST $50 I HAVE SPENT IN A LONG TIME!!!

BM was arrested in March of this year for driving while intoxicated. Then a wonderful new friend, (you know who you are and you are an ANGEL!) was able to get me more info and found out that BM's license has been suspended and she is having to make monthly payments toward a yearly surcharge of over $1,000 per year for 3 yrs.!

I could use some info. Anyone with tips on background checks and police reports?

I heard BM was arrested last wknd but I don't know what for. Can anyone tell me how long it would take for it to show up on a background check?

And where is the best place to get the background check? There are several online, but I'd rather not spend the money if they're not any good.

Haven't posted for a couple of days, too busy tryin to keep BM from getting DH arrested.

I've had it! This girl is nuts, and all this time I have been nice and sympathetic and even her friend a few times when she needed me. But yesterday she lied to the police and tried to get my man put in jail, now I'm done feeling sorry for the B****, now I just think she is a sorry B****!!!!!

Woke up to a ticked off BM! Prob not going to be a good day :(

If you read my post yesterday you know all about BM's G-ma trying to pick up SD and DH and I not being able to reach BM to see what's up. So She just shows up early this morning, ringing our doorbell repeatedly. As soon as DH opened the door she started in on him about how her G-ma has every right to pick up SD, talking a hundred miles a minute.

Would you let BM's G-ma pick up SD unannounced???

BM is M.I.A.!! This morning was the end of DH's wknd to have SD, but because BM has to work and SD is not allowed to be at BM's mother's house per temp orders, I have been keeping SD until BM gets off work. AT 4:15pm Bm's G-ma called me and left a vm that she was coming to get SD and SD would be staying with her. ?????? DH called BM and she won't answer, then he called BM's ex-fiancee, and he said BM went out of town for the wknd, and asked if her G-ma was picking SD up. So what?!! Why does he know the plan, but we don't?

SD is sick w/ double ear infections and BM is posting pictures of herself half-naked on the internet. (Is long, she's crazy)

My heart is hurting so bad right now. I don't care what kind of a parent you are, having to walk away from a sick 3yo who is begging you not to leave her there is the worst feeling in the world.

Has anyone done the social study thing before?

Bm's mom beat her up and tried to move back in w/ her. My DH filed a restraining order which was in effect until the hearing where she claimes she is now living w/ her ex-fiancee's mom, but hardly any of my SD's things are there because the house she's staying in is for sale. My DH and I hope the person who does the social study will see right through her. She is completely unstable. She seems to believe that because she is temporarily staying in a $400,000 house she will be seen as the one who should continue to designate SD's primary residence.
