for those with troubled skids, a question

Is it worth it?

I am asking myself this question often lately. I love my FDH with all my heart. We have a great relationship, and he was one of my best friends for years before we ended up together. I have no doubt that he is the one for me. skid2 is great as well - we love each other and he is overall a wonderful child.

last to know - does it ever change?

Let me preface this by saying that FDH has come MILES as a parent and as a partner from where he was almost 2 years ago when I moved in. In general, if I point out an issue to him, he is receptive and makes an effort to change.

Except, when there are changes in the custody schedule I am always the last to know.

it's only friday

.... and I've already had enough of the skid weekend. The whining, the following dad from room to room, the need to be constantly occupied, the constant "I know it all and you know nothing" attitude.

uuggghhhh.

Who's with me?

Keep in mind, FDH is the CP so it'll be quite a while before we get a break again. And I might be bald by then, or extremely hungover (probably the latter).
