Just wondering how they do it
Some of the people we have to deal with are so sick and nasty.
How do they fool everyone and hold down a job without everyone finding out what they are really like?
Are they sociopaths who are very good at hiding who they really are?
Do any of you feel like you were jettisoned into a perfect shitstorm of sick dysfunctional people?

BM is very careful about who she shows her dark side to. It's easier to claim victim status that way.

BM is able to hide her crazy for a little while, but it never lasts. I know people who work with her, and no one there can stand her. She's always late, always calls in, and reeks like cat pee and mold. She plays the victim and whines about how horrible her life is. She expects people to pity her. They don't. They can see that all her problems are her own doing.

No one who knows BM is fooled. She's a bitch and it's apparent. She and I used to be in the same industry and at one company I was at for awhile, she was a client. No one in my department could stand her, and they never even met her in person! One of the girls I worked with referred to her as Bitchface. And this was without me saying a word about what a horrible person I knew her to be. Total vindication.
Years ago, Dh(when he was still with her) got a job where she worked,and from the shit she talked about him previously, everyone expected him to be some asshole. They all realized very quickly that she was the bitch and he was a nice guy, and after awhile they all kept asking him how he could stand being with her.
