OT- Hug the ones you love, forgive the ones you don’t.

You may have heard about the devastating bus crash involving the Humboldt  Broncos hockey team. This has hit very close to home for us.

15 were killed and 14 were injured (some grievously), there were 29 people on the bus including the driver who was killed. Everyone on that bus was killed or injured. As I said, this has hit home for us, we are a hockey family. These were 16 - 21 year old boys who were on their way to a playoff hockey game. Most of them were living away from home with billet families, chasing their dreams of professional hockey.

Please go hug your kids, your hubbies/wives, your parents, siblings and skids, even the stinky rude ones.

Life is so precious and can be gone in the blink of an eye.

I lived thru Katrina when several people that I knew did not.

My advice is to hug the ones you love and ignore the aholes.

It's hit our small Canadian hockey city really hard too. Such a tragic event. How do you move on from such a tragedy? Breaks my heart.

Thanks for posting this notsobad.  It hit us really hard too (we're in Ontario).  Wearing green today in memory of all of them.
