Do you ever wonder how you got to the place you are at? What events led up to this moment in time? What choices paved the path that you are travelling on now? I have been contemplating these engima's more and more.....and more lately.
My husband and I have a 7 month old daughter together, and in my 7 months of parenting I can't claim, nor would I claim to know it all and do it all. (Some mistakes have caused me to pause and think...I'm allowed to parent....really!) Admit it, we have all had a moment! It is facinating to me how you need a license to drive a car, but any ol' idiot can parent!! ( The bio mom....definition of hot mess!)
As I embark on another weekend; a new normal, I think to myself...or outloud ( I tend to do that)....
How did we end up fighting every other weekend? Why is it that I am DREADING the sound of the car pulling into the driveway, but more over....How did I let it get this far..maybe too far gone.
This weekend is already shaping up to be our new normal...and I feel like Sunday can't come soon enough!
