O.T/ I feel like my baby hates me :(

I feel like my 9 month old hates me today. I came home from work and tried to hold him and he hit started hitting me and screaming until I gave him back to DH. I tried feeding him and hit bit down on my breast hard as heck he almost drew blood and when I told him no you don't bit he starting hitting me in my face. He's been playing with DH's face and laughing, playing peek-a-boo with my dad and he was even laying on my SM and playing with her necklace and laughing at SS5 who was making faces behind her. but whenever I touch him he throws a fit. Its starting to hurt my feelings.

Is he not connected to me anymore because I work longer hours during the day? I usually am gone before he wakes up and I don't get home until around 5:30 or 6. I feel guilty for working so much Sad He never acts like this though I don't understand.

Oh, man. My heart hurts reading this.

The downside to the promotion and probably what your DH was worried about.

It is very possible that your baby is feeling less attached to you since you're gone so much now. He is more likely to bond with those he's around often (although the gparents are a recent visit) BUT it is likely to be temporary. Babies (and kids) go through phases as to whom is their favorite parent. The good news is that it isn't permanent...he won't be hitting and biting you in kindergarten.
