Also found out that BM offered SD18 and her boyfriend (who is almost 17) edibles (they are legal in our state for 21+) while they stopped over her house for SDs birthday. Apparently she had them laying out and told them they can take them. 

Trying so hard to look cool instead those kids looked at her with disgust. 

SD has told her multiple and multiple times that "partying" isn't her thing etc etc. but she literally pushs alcohol and now edibles on her every time she see her..Truly fascinating stuff. Told her she should be partying because she's young. AKA still living that life she thought she missed out on for the last 14 years at 45 years old.

I told SDs boyfriend to not group us in the same category haha. They were both telling me. 

I'll add... I like to have fun and have some drinks... nothing wrong with that but BM is such trash!

I’m surprised she didn’t pull out the “I’m not like a regular mom, I’m a cool mom!”   This makes me wonder if Meth Mouth and Spawn would get coked up together.

The "pick me" mom lol. Hopefully seeing her pathetic BM do drugs will turn her off to them forever.

ETA not hating on responsible adults who consume cannabis legally but also handle their adult business.

She doesn't see her much but just another nail in her coffin to push SD further away. SDs boyfriend is an another AP class type kid with a bright future. He didn't tell his parents but I almost wish he did to see if they would go after BM. 

And I 100% agree with your second statement.

Time to call the LEOs to get BM cited for contributing to the delinquency of minors.

Those laws exist for a reason.  

I completely agree that responsible adults responsibly imbibing in the legal use of adult beverages/consumables is fine.   But.... those that give it to minors need to have a record that follows them for the rest of their lives.

That said, there are grey areas.  DW and I partied after our wedding. Interestingly the Casino/Resort we stayed in would not allow her on the Casino floor but would serve her alcohol since I was her spouse and I was of age.  We had our marriage license in hand.

Some states have caveats to minor consumption laws when the controlled substance is provided to the minor by their parent or guardian while on private property.

I would still have law enforcement roll up on BM for this crap. Just to bare her ass in front of her neighbors and the kids.  From what I can tell, SD's BF receiving controlled substances from BM is potentially a big deal.

Make the call! Let BF's parents know.

Did she attend?  Sheesh!  She's a common street walker but at least it's easier to see that she's off her rocker than holier than thou types.  

Personally it seems to me that THC kills ambition.  We need less laziness and more work ethic IMHO.

A family of during drugs together. Gets high tigether.  SD is an adult, I am sure SD can buy any drug she wants.  BM parenting skills need improvement. I get the feeling this is not the first time for '''the cool mother''. 

THERE nothing you can do.  She making her own bed  she will get the rewards.
