SD 18 gets kicked out of home and BM covers to keep CS

BM kicks SD 18 out of the house several months ago and hasn't mentioned a thing about to the FOC or to BD so that she can keep the CS coming. Wretch. We just found about this bc the SD has been getting truancy reports from the school posted to our email.

Has anyone had any luck with FOC in recouping CS in cases like this?

Where's she been living? Can you prove she's been living elsewhere? If you call her to testify, would she tell the truth, or can you get evidence like proof of rent? And do your papers say something to the effect of "pay as long as child lives with CP"???

FOC says they won't investigate because BM won't "deny or confirm" that SD is not living with her. Since when do we take the BM's word?

I don't think the SD would tell the truth if called...even before the court. Has falsified court documents in the past.

The JOD is silent on this issue so now we revert back to state law which says either graduation from high school or 19 1/2, whichever is later so long as the child is attending school full time AND living with the parent.

Probably have to hire an attorney AND a private investigator.

It never ends.
