SD 18 gets kicked out of home and BM covers to keep CS

BM kicks SD 18 out of the house several months ago and hasn't mentioned a thing about to the FOC or to BD so that she can keep the CS coming. Wretch. We just found about this bc the SD has been getting truancy reports from the school posted to our email.

Has anyone had any luck with FOC in recouping CS in cases like this?

I know someone posted an entry about this last week, but I didn't follow the blog so I'm posting my own entry.

I have a skid who is 18 and graduating high school in June. He has refused to see DH for almost three years. He is on my medical insurance. Court ordered that DH carry medical insurance and for cost purposes it made sense that I carry family coverage through my employer.

Update on SS request for visitation at his discretion and pending counseling

First, I'd like to thank all of you for your supportive comments to a blog post that I submitted two years ago about SS16 requesting visitation be at his discretion and then our counter to the court of required counseling.

The outcome was this: Judge went with visitation at SS discretion and court ordered counseling. Problem with all of this is that BM was ordered by the court to take SS to a certain number of appointments with counselor. She didn't do that. Counselor was ordered to submit findings to the court. Counselor never did so.

Truth please....does it get better with time

SS14 posted some questionable things on facebook this week. When BD asked him about it he totally had a meltdown and called BM to come and get him (he is at our house for his weekend of visitation). Of course BM jumped on the chance to bring up everything that has ever been done or said, in her perception of reality - which is pretty much no reality at all - in our home from the day I married BD.

BM is always accusing me of something...the latest is that I sent her 23 year daughter a post on facebook that was so disturbing to her that it caused her an issue in her already complicated pregnancy. BM called HB to tell him that I had sent the message and discuss why I would do such a thing.

1. I don't even have a facebook page.
2. I didn't even know the daughter was pregnant.
3. Why would I care?

The woman is a total psycho. Can't seem to get away from her and her drama no matter how hard we try.

SS16 asks for visitation schedule at his discretion

SS16 has asked for visitation schedule to be at his discretion. We granted this request in exchange for counseling that he desperately needs. Problem is that he now thinks that this means that he shows up whenever he wants to - meaning if SS14 tells him we are going to do something fun for the weekend (ie - weekend trip, hockey game, camping, etc) then he shows up to go. If we tell him "no" then BM has a fit in front of God and everyone and submits reports to the FOC that we are being unreasonable in visitation and that his dad isn't being a good dad, etc.
