I have not put up a blog in a LONG time. I just wanted to put a little update out there. Things are still terrible between us and SS. DH's family has turned against us completely. Now if SS is going to be at a gathering, we are not even invited. More than anything this hurts my son. He loves his grandmother and uncle. They come over once in a while too see him but that is it. I guess they like playing favorites with kids.

On a positive side, SS got a new job at the zoo. He is working with a researcher as well as actually working with animals in the pediatric department. I am not entirely sure. We get the news from my BIL, who has...taken on the father role for SS. It hurts my DH to see it but at at least SS is letting someone help him. My BIL said SS is working with baby animals and gorillas. That is all i know about it. We are happy for SS. Even if he hates us right now. The job is related to what he is studying and what he is passionate about. And he is making good money. He will finally eat better. Small victories!
