so I met the bm briefly. she is dumpy and dopey but nice enough. I think it helps that they'd both been in other serous relationships in the meantime since their divorce, as everything is pleasantly neutral.

the kid was waving his sword around andscaring my dog. I told him to go be a weed wacker and he did. the mister has been on point the whole time but for that. also there was a moment of whining last night at bedtime for" dad to sleep in my room" ( the kid has a couch in there as well as his bed) which the mister firmly replied " we talked bout this last summer. babies don't play video games" and the kid went to bed.

the misters house is a book-hoarding bachelor mess. but nice...the kid has his room and we have ours. plenty of other space too but filled with boxes of books. at least they can read lol

today I went to a coffee and lunch with an old friend which was good.

the kid is here eow except for summer; he gets a full month spaced out over the summer. so this might not be too bad.

dark beer tonight and book shopping in the attic, I think.

I told the mister that I would feel strange moving into" not MY house" and he said oh you can have it, whats mine is yours. Haha

im thinking. before I make any decisions about moving in I will have to sit him down and explore that further...
