Just updating briefly: the Kid is back at bm's, and I won't likely see him for another month or two. The Mister and I spoke a little this morning after I finished talking to my aunt, who is in a horrific step-situation, and I told him that just hearing about that frightened me for any future with him-

Mister: "Well, before we move in together we will go make our wills, and get all the paperwork sorted out so that you'll feel secure in OUR house, I wouldn't want dumptruck or Kid to have any right to bother you if anything happened to me."

Good Mister.

At any rate, not having the Kid around is nice, back to normal. I don't know how some of you guys manage having them more than once a blue moon. Crazy shit, man.

(My aunt's husband is dying. the SS is 15, the bm is trying to sue for part of the value of the house/possessions...it's insane over there right now. Dude is dying and has to meet with lawyers a bunch of times and rewrite a will on his deathbed to keep the brat and its owner from kicking my poor aunt out of their house, which they've been in for ten years...crazy times, crazy.)

I hope that bm/dumptruck enjoys fabulous good health and remains free of injury or accident, for many many years.

She can have 'em. }:)

I told Mister: if the Kid ever says he doesn't want to come over, as some kind of threat, he is gonna find out fast that he's rewarding us instead...lol, sure, stay with bm, that's awesome kiddo.

hasn't happened, but who knows? Wink
