My sister is a BM . . .from HELL??? Maybe.

I just need to vent. My sister calls me this morning and we are discussing X-mas and the kids. .BS13 . .SD13 . . Neice6 (her kid) and the plan for the holidays since the kids are out of school. We usually take turns keeping an eye on them and my dad lives close so they hang out with PaPa too. DH never knows what's going on with SD13 . . he and BM can never get their crap together but I'm pretty sure SD will be with us the majority of the holidays. It's been that way for the past 3 years.

I should get an Oscar for faking the funk!

I found steptalk early on in my journey and I disengaged from the debacle of DH, SD13 and BM. It really wasn't SD's or BM's (never met the woman) fault it was DH's . . .mainly because he let BM run him around like a fool with drop off's/pick up's etc. When I'd attempt to give advice I'd get shot down with you don't understand how WE work . . . .I'll do anything for my daughter . . .and the old favorite; you just don't like my daughter and you don't want her to come visit.

Just need to ask . . .Is it normal????

Is it normal for a 13 year old girl who has started to have a period to not take showers? SD13 is a complete orderly neat freak . .she's almost obsessive. But when it comes to showers and actually washing her coochie she could care less. I have BS13 and while we go to war over his room after the age of about 7 or 8 I didn't have to remind him to take a shower. Sometimes he's showering 2 or 3 times a day. I've noticed that only when DH asks her if she has showered will she take one when she visits. I think it's disgusting and quite lazy.

Thought y'all needed a Monday morning laugh . . .

So SD13 has been out of the country with BM for 3 weeks. I'm sure you can imagine the drama this all caused before they left. Let's just say BM can not afford to walk away from her piece of job for 3 weeks. She wanted DH to pay for everything . .. He stuck to his guns and informed her that this was her trip so it was her expense. We don't ask for money when we take SD13 on vacation with us. I was so proud of him.

Need some info my people . . .

DH carries SD13 on his insurance. SD has accident at school. BM uses mostly out of network Dr's after it has been explained to her several times how most real insurance works and not gov't insurance. She ignores us as usual cause she knows best.

This happened back in Nov. the bills have started rolling in and she's calling DH to get money to pay them. She finally faxes us copies and we find one that has DH's name on it with her address???????? I want DH's name off of it. He didn't take SD to the dr., BM did. How do we get this straight???

So now you show up . . .

SD13 is showing up this weekend after a month 1/2 break from DH. Limited phone calls, no show visits . ..the whole nine. Why is she coming this weekend? Well it's her B-day of course.

DH already spent one day with her this week . . .I sent my very small gift with him hoping she'd be satisfied }:) Didn't work . .she's coming this weekend anyway.

This may be a little off topic but I need to get it off my chest. I'm so tired of having to hold DH's hand to do everything. I cannot believe I married a man who is just clueless in regards to a house and the up keep, simple plumbing issues, mowing the lawn and just lawn care in general. He can't do anything by himself. I'm used to men like my daddy. . . .He worried about the man stuff and my mom worried about the woman stuff. My dad always made sure the lawn was perfect, he tinkered and fixed on what he could and if he couldn't fix it he called in back up.

I read this in a blog today (I think Anne Boleyn). ST I don’t know what I’m doing. I think I’ve started something that I’m going to regret. Background info: DH and I have been married 2 years, together for almost 9. I have BS13 and he has SD13. I met SD when she was around 5 or 6.
