Cell phone update
First of all, Happy Mother's Day to all of the BMs here and also to the SMs who work so hard to help your SO with the skids. BM picked SD up last night and we should get her back on Saturday.
So, an update! BM has decided that SD's phone is actually a convenience now that she realizes we weren't trying to sabotage her by purchasing it and now that SD is spending time with her friends more, it is actually a great accessory for easy access to her plans, wherabouts, etc.

Ready to run away
I am chilling in the living room and SD asks when we are "getting" breakfast. I tell her we have yogurt, apples, oatmeal with brown sugar, toaster strudel, and boxed mac n cheese with bacon- this was after 11am. I already ate leftover chili from my sister's dinner last night. Oh, she also brought home 3 sopapillas from dinner.

Should I do it?
I know this seems extremely immature but I am feeling a little crazy today..
Usually BM and GBM wish me a happy birthday (March) and MD. I don't know if they really appreciate me as mother figure, but they usually text me nonetheless.

Am I wrong?
DH and I had an explosive arguement this morning and part of it was in front of SD because he can't have a conversation when he is angry and starts to raise his voice because he is irritated. I went with them to drop SD off so I could get my truck that he didn't bring home last night.

Results are in!
And the answer was mostly C!
I am still laying in bed and SD comes to stand in our doorway with her bag of cereal. She says there aren't any bowls and I can't help but inform her that we have plenty of bowls. There aren't any clean ones she says. I don't answer, rather give her a blank stare and DH doesn't say anything, probably expecting me to answer. SD walks away.

Performing an experiment
I had dinner at my girlfriend's house because she and her husband just separated and plan to divorce. They were high school sweethearts so this is devastating after over 12 years. She wanted it to work and he didn't.
Anyway, I bought stuff for DH to make spaghetti and asked SD to help him before I left. Crickets. I also told DH to teach SD how to make a basic meal because of the "breakfast" incident almost 2 weeks ago. Crickets. He wants to complain about how lazy SD is but makes no effort to remedy the situation, but I digress.

Is this horrifying?
https://www.mirror.co.uk/lifestyle/family/diners-horrified-polite-notice...
It is sad that this notice was necessary for this restaurant. I can't stand when kids are running around and disturbing others. I used to be a busser and it is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING when parents allow kids to do as they please.
I have no problem telling the child (very loudly) to go back to their parents. I do this in stores also. When the parent can't be seen, there is a problem.

Again with the cell phone..
As some of you may remember, this is a touchy subject with me. After BM very blatantly and RUDELY made it clear to me (not DH) that the cell phone we provided for SD was to never go near her house basically, has had SD call to request it again.
Yes, we were out playing pool with BIL and SIL last night, and BM calls. DH answered and it was SD. She "needed the phone tomorrow." I don't have a problem with her having it because that's why we bought it, but I can't help but get frustrated at BM's double standard "rules".

DH or SD- who to believe?
As I posted on Saturday, I took a nap after the gym because SD was fed (single-serve mac n cheese, a jumbo kit kat bar and almost a pint of vanilla ice cream) and I ate leftovers. SD asked me at 3pm when we were having breakfast then proceeded to call DH because I was sleeping.
In her mind DH was bringing her Einstein's because she requested it. DH says he called her back, proceeded to scold her for being a lazy bum for claiming she can't use a TOASTER, and said that if she can veg out all day, she can use YouTube to learn!

Ready for SD to go home
I know, I know. You all told me so.
I went to the gym this morning and got home right before noon. SD is eating ice cream when I walk in and says she just ate mac n cheese. Great. I walked the dogs and ate leftovers when I got back.
I ended up taking a nap and I woke up to SD texting me saying "when are we going to have breakfast? My mom is coming at 5 and I'm starving." This was at almost 3pm.
